CND Spring 2023 – SHADE SENSE COLLECTION – Shellac & Vinylux

Now this is a spring colour collection! Six new shades and already I’m in love. In this blog we start with our colour comparisons, taking a look at each colour in turn. In our LIVE show on Tuesday we will examining the application experiance, comparing to existing colours in the range, and explore nail designs uniquely suited to these truly beautiful new colours.

This collection is so so pretty. Pastel-perfect spring shades, exactly what we are looking for right about now. I’ve had a great time swatching the colours and creating colour comparison shots to help us explore just where in our existing range these new shades sit.

CND SHADE SENSE COLLECTION COLOR COMPARISON SWATCHES

Colour comparison shoots are a big challenge! Getting the colours to look true to life, while presenting them in a balanced way with artistic flare takes more work than it might appear. The first hurdle is choosing which colours from the existing range to select, how many to show, and how to arrange them. In this shoot I used CND PRE-SHAPED COFFIN TIPS as a canvas to apply the colours. I’m so happy with how they turned out. I hope you like them too, and find the colour selections helpful!
